collegiate province representatives
at the recent province workshop, brother michael nay was elected to the position of collegiate province representative for the 2012 year. brother nay was initiated in spring 2008 at the upsilon chi chapter at northwest missouri state. additionally, brother alex yocum was elected to the position of assistant collegiate province representation for the 2012 year. brother yocum was initiated in fall 2007 at the iota rho chapter at missouri state university. the province is excited to have these brothers representing province 19. furthermore, the province would like to thank brothers fetterly and cornilsen for representing the province in 2011.
province 19 workshop
on the weekend of november 11, approximately 150 brothers traveled to the campus of the university of missouri for the 2011 province 19 workshop. the workshop consisted of a special presentation by national committeeman-at-large walter c. riley, the induction of 19 new brothers, a mills music mission at a local assisted living facility, and the election of brothers nay and yocum to the offices of cpr and acpr respectively. the province officers would like to thank the province and the zeta chapter for a great workshop!

american music challenge
the national fraternity has renewed the american music challenge for 2011. cash prizes are awarded to the winning chapters. click here for more information on how your chapter can participate.

three province 19 chapters recognized
the zeta, epsilon gamma, and upsilon chi chapters have earned the director's award for the 2009-2010 school year. the director's award recognizes the top 20 chapters across the nation in the area of new member recruitment during an academic year. congratulations are in order to three of our own chapters on this fantastic achievement.
israel recognized at national convention
recently at the national convention in orlando, fl, our province governor, john israel, was named "province governor of the year." during his tenure as province governor, john has built province 19 to be one of the strongest provinces in the nation. in addition, john was appointed as chair of the province governors' council for the next triennium. john is excited about his new responsibility as a member of the national executive committee. the province is excited about john's new position and fully supports him as he continues his work for sinfonia.
