zeta hosts province 19 workshop
on november 21, 22, over 100 brothers from the 9 chapters of province 19 gathered on the campus of the university of missouri for the 2009 province 19 workshop. highlights of the weekend included the induction of 9 new brothers, a mills music mission at a local nursing home, and the election of a new cpr and acpr. congratulations to ryan gavin of the zeta chapter and jeremy montague of the beta mu chapter who will serve the province as cpr and acpr respectively for the next year. thank you to past cpr and acpr chris cordonier and tim dunsford for your service to the province over the past year. in addition, newly appointed deputy province governor jayson moll and province alumni coordinator mike israel were formally inducted into their new positions. click here to view pictures from the weekend.
israel recognized at national convention
recently at the national convention in orlando, fl, our province governor, john israel, was named "province governor of the year." during his tenure as province governor, john has built province 19 to be one of the strongest provinces in the nation. in addition, john was appointed as chair of the province governors' council for the next triennium. john is excited about his new responsibility as a member of the national executive committee. the province is excited about john's new position and fully supports him as he continues his work for sinfonia.
iota rho receives lutton merit award
the iota rho chapter received the most citations during 2006-2009 and received the charles e. lutton award. the province officers accepted this award at the national convention on their behalf. the iota rho chapter was formally presented the award at province workshop in columbia, mo.
